I was so delighted by Portland; it’s a little gem of a city. The weather in late May was still a little chilly – unseasonably cold for Memorial Day weekend in Maine! At this point of our trip, I was tired of wearing a jacket, so I layered up to stay warm while feeling stylish.

Outfit Details:
Zara knit top, Marine Layer Button-Down Shirt, Daily Practice half-zip sweater / The Colette Pant / Soludos Espadrilles / Dooney & Bourke Bag (old, similar here)/ Brixton Straw Hat

We explored some local boutiques, and only knowing that I had no room in my luggage kept me from too much shopping. I found an adorable little salt cellar in the form of a shell that was just right for my kitchen – my favorite souvenir!
I’ve linked the online shops above for easy browsing. The next thing I have my eye on? A unique door knocker – something I love about coastal New England homes are the charming touches like elegant door knockers that pay tribute to nature.

Until next time!
