Enjoying a long day of sailing in the summer is all about staying as cool, comfortable, and protected from the sun as possible.

This combination of a rash guard with UPF sun protection and quick drying athletic shorts are a go-to outfit for me on a hot day. I like to wear a swimsuit underneath so I’m ready to jump in the water (or the pool!) after a sail. While you can go barefoot, I prefer to wear some low profile boat shoes to keep my feet safe when moving around quickly, and they help prevent slipping.
